Agility is defined as “a skill-related component of physical fitness that relates to the ability to rapidly change the position of the entire body in space with speed and accuracy.” It requires quick reflexes, coordination, balance, speed, and correct response to the changing environment. To be agile is to get your body into the best position to take the next action, such as stepping over an object like a childrens toy, getting out of a car, stepping off a curb, or even untangling your self from your dogs leash. Agility drills can be used to develope your speed, coordination, balance, and strength.
The agility drills in this course will be performed with a set of agility rings. You can find them at your local sports store or get them online.
